
CBD COP13
The UN Biodiversity Conference, Cancun, Mexico, 2016 provides opportunities for Parties and other Governments, in concert with partner organizations and other entities, to announce commitments or actions in support of the Convention, the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020, and the Aichi Biodiversity Targets.
The central theme of the conference will be the integration of the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity in the plans, programs and sectoral and intersectoral policies with emphasis on agriculture, forestry, fisheries and tourism sectors.
