Demand Side Management Demonstration
Project Summary
Strengthening of the institutional capabilities of Jamaica Public Service Company (JPSCo), and implementation of an integrated approach to energy conservation. JPSCo. will acquire the necessary information and data to develop sustainable programs that overcome market barriers to energy conservation. Mechanisms to address these barriers will be tested, and evaluation results will be used to design full scale sustainable long-term energy efficiency programs. The project will demonstrate the viability of energy savings and efficiency in the commercial, residential and industrial sectors and the long-term sustainability of retrofitting.
