Biodiversity Conservation of Lake Bosumtwe Basin
Project Summary
Bosomtwe is one of the six major meteoric lakes in the world and its ecological uniqueness makes it one of the most important habitats for rare and endemic plant and animal species. The main objective and activities as stated in the proposal are in line with the government's policy of conserving and sustainably managing natural resources and land use in Ghana as contained in the Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan which is currently being finalized.
