Project Summary
The project’s development objective is to contribute to the improved sustainable and equitable management of Ecuador’s biological diversity by strengthening the effective management and financial sustainability of its National Protected Areas System (NPAS). The global environmental objective is to conserve and sustainably manage globally important forest and freshwater ecosystems in Ecuador, one of the 17 megadiverse countries in the world.
