Project Summary
The project’s global objective is to achieve GHG reductions through the alleviation of policy, information, institution capacity and financing barriers that currently hinder renewable energy technology dissemination and market development in Nicaragua. The Development Objective is to create a mechanism to focus and heighten the government commitment to extend electrification services in a sustainable manner as an engine for economic growth with social equity.
