National Capacity Self-Assessment for Global Environmental Management
Project Summary
The implementation of the NCSA will be linked to both the Integrated Rural Sustainable Development Strategy (IRSDS) and the Urban Renewal Programme (URP) of the Government of South Africa. In this way, the NCSA initiative will form part of the efforts directed at addressing South Africa’s development challenges. This will be achieved primarily through the identification of projects within the IRSDS and the URP that will be used as pilots for the NCSA process. The following project outline reflects the various practical considerations.
