Micro-turbine Cogeneration Technology Application Project (MCTAP)
Project Summary
The principal objective of the proposed micro-turbine co-generation MCT application project is the reduction of the long-term cost of MCT within the Indonesian market. The successful implementation of this proposed project will increase awareness of the potential MCT users and the government, and will likely assist in reducing MCT cost and removing the barriers to a functioning MCT market. It is likely that MCT suppliers/distributors and the prospective users in the industrial and commercial sectors will be further encouraged to scale-up their capacity to develop and to adopt MCT technology, which thus will accelerate the cost reduction of MCT implementation and to build on the successful examples of emerging MCT market development and will continue translating future price reductions into greater long-term market penetration.
