The objective of the project is to improve energy efficiency of selected coal-fired power generation units through renovation and modernization (R&M) and improved operations and maintenance (O&M), and a significant co-benefit of the project is the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions per kilowatt hour of electricity generated.
