Support to GEF Eligible CBD Parties for Carrying out 2010 Biodiversity Targets National Assessments- Phase II

Parties to the Convention on Biodiversity have committed to a more effective and coherent implementation of the three objectives of the CBD and to achieve by the year 2010 a significant reduction of the current rate of biodiversity loss at the global, regional and national level. This project will address the need to engage broad group of stakeholders at the national level in the process of assessing and reporting on progress towards the achievement of the 2010 biodiversity targets.
