MED: Enhanced Water Resources Management
Project Summary
To improve water management through piloting integrated water resources management (IWRM) in the Nile Delta and enhancing the knowledge and capacity of water sector institutions for IWRM in Egypt, contributing to pollution reduction in the Mediterranean Sea. These pilots will form the basis for scaling up investments through the Government’s Integrated Water Resources Management Plan and contribute even more significantly to depollution and improved ecosystem health of the Mediterranean Sea and its biodiversity resources.
